How to Get Your New Jersey Driver License

The following are the basic steps to obtaining a regular driver's license categorized by how old you are when you begin the process:-

Age 16

Keep Enrolling in a state-approved driver education program. Pass a knowledge test exam.Pass a vision test which is related to eyesight. Also get your student learner's permit. Keep Practice supervised driving for at least six months. Simply pass the road test. You may also get your probationary license formerly known as a provisional license. Practice the unsupervised driving for at least one year. Get your basic driver's license.

Ages 17-20

Almost same as up once Pass a knowledge test.

One must pass a vision test and Get your examination permit and Practice supervised driving for at least six months and also pass the road test. Just Get your probationary (formerly known as a provisional license) license. You may Practice unsupervised driving for at least one year. And Get your basic driver's license.

Ages 21 and Older

Just pass a knowledge test.

Next Pass a vision test and Get your examination permit and you may Practice supervised driving for at least three months and Pass the road test and Get your probationary (formerly known as a provisional license) license one must Practice unsupervised driving for at least one year just Get your basic driver's license. Keep in your mind that during the training periods of different driving restrictions apply according to the age category.
